New Appointments to Executive Team Focus on Growth and Momentum
SANTA BARBARA (June 1, 2008) - TrueVision Systems, Inc., the leading provider of 3D, high-definition vision systems for microsurgery, announced the new appointments of three executives. The appointments include David Bragg as Vice President of Sales and Business Development, A. Burton Tripathi, PhD., as Vice President of Product Development and Robert Reali as the Vice President of Operations and Marketing.
TrueVision® is a patented, real-time, 3D HD vision system for microsurgery. The company was founded in 2003 and released its TrueVision flagship product in 2007. Dr. Tripathi and Mr. Reali are based in the company's Santa Barbara headquarters with Mr. Bragg based in the company's new Orange County sales office.

David Bragg, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, has 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the ophthalmic surgical industry. Mr. Bragg directs global sales and strategic business development operations for all medical disciplines from the company's Orange County sales office. Most recently he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WaveTec Vision Systems Inc. Prior to joining WaveTec, Mr. Bragg was Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Advanced Vision Science (AVS), a subsidiary of Santen Inc., based in Osaka Japan. David has held several senior sales and marketing positions with Bausch and Lomb, Chiron Vision and Johnson and Johnson. He received his BA degree from the University of Minnesota.
A. Burton Tripathi, PhD
A. Burton Tripathi, PhD, Vice President of Product Development has over 10 years experience in developing and marketing innovative technology, primarily in the medical device industry. Dr. Tripathi is leading the company's development efforts for the core TrueVision products and is responsible for the new product roadmap for hardware and surgical software products. Dr. Tripathi worked as senior manager for the Lap-Band® business at Allergan (previously Inamed). Prior to Allergan, he was the product manager for robotic surgical systems at Computer Motion, Inc. (now Intuitive Surgical-DaVinci). Dr. Tripathi worked for two years as a management consultant with the firm of McKinsey & Co. where he focused on High-Tech, Life Sciences, and Corporate Finance work. His extensive experience includes assignments with medical device, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Tripathi received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/Material Science and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Robert Reali, Vice President of Operations and Marketing, has over 20 years experience as an executive in operations and marketing for technology companies. Mr. Reali leads the marketing team responsible for creating and implementing corporate messaging, marketing programs, and events. In addition Mr. Reali is directing the growth in operations, manufacturing, and sales support. Prior to TrueVision, Mr. Reali was the Business Development, Marketing and Programs Manager for Advanced Propulsion Technologies (now EcoMotors, a Kholsa Ventures company), an early-stage company that developed a clean and fuel efficient diesel engine. Mr. Reali spent 21 years as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of ExperTelligence Inc. that licensed software and incubated a host of software and internet companies based on its intellectual property that included an IPO. He studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
