TrueVision Appoints William J. Link to Board of Directors
Santa Barbara, CA, USA – June 5, 2017 –
TrueVision announced today the appointment of William J. Link, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors. The appointment is effective immediately.

Bill has a long history of leadership in business and in the healthcare industry. He is currently the Founder and Principal of Flying L Partners, a strategic fund focused primarily on ophthalmology. Prior to Flying L Partners, Bill was a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Versant Ventures, a leading venture capital firm, where he spent more than 25 years investing and building some of the most successful and innovative medical device companies. Prior to entering venture capital, Bill founded Chiron Vision (now part of Bausch & Lomb) and American Medical Optics (now part of J&J Vision). Bill serves on the Board of several private and three public companies including Glaukos (GKOS), Second Sight (EYES) and Edwards Life Sciences (EW). Bill received his BS, MS and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
