Bringing 3D to the O.C. — Sales and Business Development Executive for Emerging Medical Device Company Opens Local Office

ORANGE COUNTY (July 24, 2008) — TrueVision Systems, Inc. selected Orange County as the site of its new sales headquarters and David Bragg, newly appointed Vice President of Sales and Business Development, will manage the office, company officials recently announced. Based in Santa Barbara, the TrueVision® product is a patented, real-time, 3D HD video camera and display system for microscopes often described as the IMAX for the operating room.

Mr. Bragg will direct global sales and strategic business development for all medical disciplines from the new Orange County office. He has over 20 years of marketing and sales experience in the ophthalmic surgical industry, including senior positions with Bausch & Lomb, Chiron Vision, and Johnson & Johnson. Most recently Mr. Bragg was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WaveTec Vision Systems, Inc. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Advanced Vision Sciences (AVS), a subsidiary of Santen Inc., based in Osaka, Japan. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota.

Over 2,500 ophthalmic, neurological, spine, and otolaryngology (ENT) procedures have been performed using the TrueVision 3D HD imaging system. The benefits of the system include; better depth of field over looking into eyepieces, ergonomic comfort, improved operating room team synergy and more control due to widescreen format. In addition, the ability to easily record and edit 3D HD content makes TrueVision 3D HD product a valuable tool for teaching and presentations.
